Chocolate Pie, Football and Feeling Thankful
Thanksgiving will be here on Thursday and somehow this year went way too fast!! I am looking forward to spending time with family as we crowd around our tables, watch football, and then jump in line for the best part, my grandmother's chocolate pie! Thank goodness my aunts still faithfully carry on the tradition of that beautiful pie.
This time of year also reminds me of all the reasons that I have to be thankful. However for others, it can be a difficult time of year. One of the ways my company gives back is the support of the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Wichita. We have been involved with their organization since 2009. The services they provide to children is such a blessing for our community. This holiday season, we will be trying to fulfill the items on their wish list. If you would like to join us in this endeavor, we have included their wish list in our newsletter.
